Francis "Sonny" Sanislo

Francis S. Sanislo, age 88, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023 at home surrounded by family.  He was born on September 20, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Francis and Yolanda Sanislo.  Frank was a 1953 graduate of Macomber High School.  He worked as a glass coordinator at Libby Glass retiring in 1997 after 35 ½ years.  Frank also worked at Kateri Schools as a part time custodian for 37 years.  He was a member of Epiphany of Lord Parish-St. Thomas Aquinas Church.

Frank is survived by his children, Michael Sanislo, Luann (Michael) Cole, Steven (Patty) Sanislo, David (Linda) Sanislo and Tammy (Ray) Wuertz; 13 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean; sister, Rosalie Wootton; brother, Steve Sanislo; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Coehrs.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 10-2:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
