Flora L. Fox, 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Orchard Villa. She was born on November 28, 1935 in Toledo to Forest and Frances Smith. Flo attended Waite High School and worked in the catalog department at J.C. Penny on Woodville Rd for 33 years. She was a former member of St. Louis Catholic Church. In her spare time, Flo enjoyed bowling, crafts and playing Bunco. She will be dearly missed.
Flo is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard Fox; daughter, Denise (Todd) Sprague; grandchildren: Jessica Shimman, Rick (Sarah) Fox, Melisa (Aaron) Prentice, Steve Carr, Luke Fox and Molli Mauder; 8 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, LuAnn Fox, son-in-law, Ric Mauder and sister-in-law, Jean Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Donna Mauder and Dianna Carr; son, Rick Fox; brother, Kenneth Smith and sister, Mary Hibbits.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 4-8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation or the donor’s choice.
