Eveylyn "Evy" Ramsey

Evelyn J. Ramsey, 78, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at MercyHealth-St. Vincent Medical Center.  She was born on December 28, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Carl and Maxine Klingensmith.  Evelyn was a 1961 graduate of Whitney High School.  She married Ronald Ramsey on September 1, 1962 and together they started their family.  Evelyn worked as a cashier for many years at the Pharm in Oregon before it’s closing.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading books and tending to her flowers.  She will be dearly missed.

Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ronald Ramsey; children, Cynthia (John) Lewallen, Karen (Glenn) Yarger, and Jeff (Ann) Ramsey; grandchildren, Melissa (Tom) Lewallen, Amanda (Tony) LaPoint, Andrea Lewallen, Ross Yarger, and Jacob Yarger and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Dresden and brother, Paul Klingensmith.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon.
