Ethan Mikal Kleinhans

Ethan Mikal Kleinhans age 19 of Northwood passed away March 3, 2024 at St. Anne’s Hospital. Ethan was born June 14, 2004 at Toledo Hospital. He was a 2023 graduate of Woodlane School. Ethan was a bright bubbly rambunctious boy who beat all the odds set before him. He was a master at figuring out things for himself and excelling in his way at what challenged him. Ethan was affectionately called the energizer bunny by his family because he was always on the move; jumping, bouncing, swinging and going for car rides. He taught himself how to swim and enjoyed all kinds of music and bright colors. Ethan had the best smile and laugh, he lived in a world of love and innocence from the outside world. Some of his favorite things were long walks, McD’s French fries, Suddenly Pasta Salad and straws. Ethan was his family’s strong shining star and he will be greatly missed.

Ethan is survived by his mother DeAnne Kleinhans; grandparents Bill and Roberta Kleinhans; sisters Haily (Caleb) Siefke, Sydney Kleinhans, and Nataleigh Kleinhans; niece Mackenzie Siefke; and great aunt and uncle Jane and Clarence Lickert. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Ina Bye Schroeder.
