Elsie E. Dippman

Elsie E. Dippman, 98, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center.  She was born on July 31, 1924 in Northwood, Ohio to William and Marie (Maire) Wasserman.  Elsie was a 1942 graduate of Olney High School.  She married her husband, Michael on October 8, 1946.  Elsie worked as library clerk for Eisenhower School in Oregon for over 20 years.  Elsie was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.  In her spare time, Elsie enjoyed playing cards, golfing, tending to her flowers and reading books.  She will be dearly missed.

Elsie is survived by her children, Janice (Charles) Rajner, Judy (David) McMurray, Jeanne (Ron) Robeson, and Joyce (Pat) Brady; grandchildren, Michael (Kelly) Rajner, Eric Rajner, Brad Rajner, Dan McMurray, Vallie Robeson, and Ronnie (Maggie Rowe) Robeson; step grandson, Rob Brady; five great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Vi Gahler, Jane Cajka, Leo Wasserman, and Verna Konesky.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael; and her siblings, Donald Wasserman, Luella Fairchild, Rita Boes, Dorothy Dippman, Leonard Wasserman, Angie Dunn and Anna Mae Sattler.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 2-8:00 p.m. with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday with prayers at 10:15 a.m. and continue on with the funeral Mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd Oregon, Ohio at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Ignatius Church or Cardinal Stritch High School.  The family would like to thank the staff at Christian Home Care, St. Charles Hospital, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all their wonderful care.
