Elizabeth Ann Slaughterbeck

September 27, 1937 — February 21, 2023

Elizabeth A. Slaughterbeck, 85, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Center.  She was born on September 27, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Elizabeth Weissenberger.  Elizabeth was a graduate of St. Ursula Academy.  She worked for many years as a tax preparer.  Elizabeth was a former member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.  She enjoyed watching Columbus Blue Jackets hockey and IndyCar racing.  For many years she attended the Indy 500.  Elizabeth made many hand crafts and collected teddy bears.  She will be dearly missed by her family.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, David (Beth) Slaughterbeck; grandchildren, Nicholas (Sarah) Slaughterbeck and Benjamin (Allison) Slaughterbeck and her great-grandson, Grayson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; and her brother, John.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 10-12:00 p.m. where services will be held at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or any local Humane Society.
