Elaine Sue (Coker) Toth Boos

Elaine Sue Boos of Rockwell, NC native to Toledo, OH. went to be with our Lord, at her home, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. She fought small cell lung cancer and always said she would be a miracle and beat this cancer.  After 3 chemo treatments she was cancer free until it came back as bone cancer.  Without a doubt she was a fighter! Elaine was born on June 26, 1958 to Unice Joyce Wilson and James Curtice Coker. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, or just relaxing at home among many other things.  But most of all she enjoyed being with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristen Toth; sister, Janet Coker Chittwood; and brother, Michael Coker. Left to cherish her memory are her 3 children, Mary Ellen Kellow (Brad Kellow) of Bowling Green OH, Stacy Toth of Rockwell NC, and Terry Toth (Karen Schimmel) of Oregon OH; her boyfriend of 5 years, Frank Ostraska of Rockwell NC; her 8 grandchildren, Cody Toth, Morgan Kellow, Alayna Schimmel, Kirsten Toth, Adam “AJ” Kellow, Julian Toth, Karis Toth, and Kaylee Toth; her brother, James (Charlotte) Coker and her sister, Terri (Jim) Carper.

A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, January 30, 2021, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. where a memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to Elaine’s family.
