Elaine O. Sherman, 79, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012. She was born on January 26, 1933 in Toledo to Neal and Mary Tosi. Elaine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents and daughter, Vicky Freiss. She is survived by her children: Bill Sherman, Mike (Tonya) Sherman, Ruth (Tim) Mominee, Mary (Jim) Takacs, Jody (David) Roepke, Shirley (Bob) Sexton, Harold (ChiChi) Sherman, Jr. and Valerie Slover; 26 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and many great great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
