Edward S. Ramsey

Edward S. Ramsey, age 66, of Perrysburg, Ohio formerly of Toledo passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at his home surrounded by family and friends.  He was born on February 14, 1956 in Terron Mexico to Charles and Juanita Ramsey.  Edward was a pipe liner for Buckeye Pipeline, retiring after 36 years of service.  He had a spiritual background from a young age and was a member of many congregations of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness and a minister for Jehovah’s Kingdom.  Edward loved spending time with his family, especially with the grandkids.  He enjoyed listening to music, watching sports, and collecting autographs.  He will be dearly missed.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Deana Ramsey; sons, Edward (Kimberly) Ramsey Sr., and Zane (Emily Wilkins) Ramsey; grandchildren, Edward (Samantha) Ramsey Jr, Keven Ryan, Kylee Ramsey, Alisa Ramsey, Zane Ramsey II, Ethen Ramsey, and Aliyah Ramsey; his sister, Maria Contreras, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dustin; and siblings, Frances Theis, Esperanza Hernandez, Catalina Rodriguez, Josephine Robles, and Jose Rodriguez.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Ohio Living Hospice and JW.org.
