Edward C. Anderson, 79, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born in Toledo on April 24, 1934 to Fridolph and Lillian (Heath) Anderson, Sr. and was a graduate of Waite High School. He was a conductor with Conrail (NYC) and in his spare time enjoyed hunting, fishing and model trains.
Ed is survived by his children, Kathy Harpel, Edward “Bud” (Lois) Anderson, Donna (Frank) Stefan; grandchildren, Erik and Sean Anderson, Sarah (Jon) Hummel, Michael Harpel, Alex Stefan and Christopher Harpel and great-grandson, Elijah Hummel. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Myrle M. (Curtis) Anderson; parents and brother, Fridolph Anderson, Jr.
Family and friends may visit from 11-2 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon. Graveside services will be private at Lake Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Cherry Street Mission.
