ECIL KATHERINE FREDRICK
“Nana” Fredrick, 81, of Toledo passed away, October 23, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born February 22, 1931 in Toledo to Grandville and Edith E. (Sutton) Pratt. For over 20 years, she worked as a production worker for Baldulf Bakery. Nana was a faithful member of Martin Luther Church where she was active in various groups including the Women of the Church, Prayer Shawl Group, Angel Food Ministry and Feed Your Neighbor.
Nana is survived by her son, James E. (Linda) Fredrick; daughters, Alice J. LaCourse and Vicky M. (Mark) Fowler; grandchildren, Eric (Deborah), Brent (fiancée Jenn), Jennifer, David and Sherry; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and sister, Mabel Reed. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James A. Fredrick; parents; son-in-law, Earl LaCourse; three brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends may visit from 2-8 p.m. in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, October 26, 2012 where the funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Martin Luther Church, 601 Nevada Street, Toledo, Ohio 43605.
