EARL HENRY

Earl Henry, 69, of Oregon, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at his home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Helen (Leffler) Henry and served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked for 10 years with Libbey Glass as a Machine Repairman and in his spare time enjoyed camping and metal work, building motorcycles and restoring antique cars. He was a member of the AM Vets #222, VFW Post 9963 and the American Legion Post 99.

He is survived by his siblings, Delores (Wayne) Jackson, Evelyn Pawlinski (Jim Wright), Fred (Linda) Henry, Diane Wenzel and Howard (Kathy) Henry; aunt, Betty Leffler;  many nieces and nephews and his little Yorkie companion, JR. Earl was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Sally Mehle, Homer Henry, Janet Ballew and Eddie Lee Henry.

Family and friends may visit from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2013 in  the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
