Dorothy J, “Dot” Martin, 87, of Oregon, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital in Oregon. She was born in Toledo to Arland and Loddie Caswell. She was a loving wife, mother and grandma who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to Bingo, crocheting, Laurence Welk John Wayne movies and was known for her salt and pepper shaker collection.
Dot is survived by her children, Charles Martin and Arlene (Harry) Kahl; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.
Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, is handling her arrangements. There will no services and burial will be private.
