Dorothy Carr age 82, of Toledo passed away Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Lutheran Home at Toledo. Dee Dee was a very caring, kind and loving person. She loved dogs, her family, baking pies, garage sales, bingo, cards, and the outdoors.
Dee Dee is survived by her loving daughters; Debra (James) Holley of Temperance and Terri Spiegel of Cincinnati, grandchildren; Erin (Matt) Deiners and Eric Holley, great-grandchildren; Garrett, Kayla, Grace Deiners and another great-grandchild expected in April, brother; Donald Schlessner, and sister-in-law; Geri Schlessner. She was preceded in death by her mother; Anna Schlessner and brothers; August and Virgil Schlessner.
Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Clay Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated to the Toledo Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
