Dorothy “Dotty” Brabb, age 70, left this earth surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, September 9, 2012. She was born on December 5, 1941 to Noah and Gertrude (Briner) Oberdier. Dotty worked in many different jobs throughout her life including several years at Monarch Printing. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, crocheting and was an avid bargain hunter. Being the generous and caring woman she was her family and friends always came first.
Dotty is survived by her loving companion, Jerry McMillan; children, Connie (James) Webster, Candy (Delbert) Coutcher, Christopher M. Bodette; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Lou, Eileen, Randy and Bob. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Venus; son, Tony; granddaughter DeaDee; grandson, Matthew; siblings, John, Ralph, Ray and Margaret.
Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. the following day. Burial will be private. Friends wishing to give a memorial contribution are asked to consider the family.
