DORIS M. FIELD BOBER
Doris M. Field Bober, 85, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Monday June 9, 2014 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home in Oregon. She was born in Toledo on May 6, 1929 to Clayton and Thelma (Kuhn) Zelms and worked as a Kitchen Manager for White Tower for 25 years retiring in 1988. She was a volunteer with Luther Home and served as the 1st Ladies Auxiliary Vice President of the Toledo Police American Legion Post # 512.
Doris is survived by her children, Sharon (Mark) Weirich, Kenneth (Diana) Field, Richard Field, David (Jeanette) Field and Ron (Sharon) Field; many dear grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Morse; niece, Diane (Ray) Medlin and nephew, Darrell (Cindy) Morse. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Burial will be private at North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to Orchard Villa.
