Dorian K. Myers, age 50, of Oregon, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Mercy Health St. Charles Hospital. He was born on April 23, 1973 in Toledo, Ohio to King Vernon Peacock and Karen Myers. Dorian was a graduate of Clay High School and worked for Viking Paper for 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In his spare time, he liked fishing, going to the casino, and was an avid Michigan and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Dorian always had a smile on his face and never met a person who didn’t become a friend.
Dorian is survived by his loving wife, Trina Myers. Dorian and Trina were together for close to 30 years; children, Cierra (Alex Lillie) Myers, and Dorian Myers II; grandchildren, Alexander “AJ” Lillie, Madison Lillie, and a grandbaby on the way; mother-in-law, Esther Sandwisch; father-in-law, Ruben Rosales; brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Isabel (Larry) Sloan, Ruben (Tiffany) Rosales Jr, Michael Zaciewski Jr, and Andrea (Kevin) Kaiser, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his parents.
Germaine, Peter, John, Dana, Rod, Travis, Chad, James, JD and Andre, you were more than friends to him, you were his brothers and he was grateful to have you in his life. Thank you for always being there for him.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Davita Home Health and Davita Northwood for the care they provided Dorian over the last few years. Thank you, Viking Paper, especially Jay, Keith, and Wendi, for your support and kindness. You were more than Dorian’s employer; you were like family. Thank you to our neighbors, family and friends who were there whenever we called, we could not have traveled this journey without you.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. where family will greet guests after 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Clay Twp Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to National Kidney Foundation.
