Donna Mae Oatley

Donna Mae Oatley age 87 of Oregon, Ohio passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at the Gardens of St. Francis. Donna was born to Raymond and Gertrude (Vandervlucht) Burger on February 13, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio. She married Ronald Oatley who preceded her in death. Donna was very close to her family and very protective of her family as well. Her kind, generous heart extended to wildlife she loved to feed and care for any animal she came across. Her children knew if they wanted a new pet all they had to do was get mom to hold the animal and give her a good story and the animal became family.

Donna is survived by her children Ron Oatley, Stacey Jackson, Todd Oatley, and Keith Oatley; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Doris Levi; close family friend Sharon Miller; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by her daughters Dawn Oatley and Lisa Oatley; and 10 brothers and sisters.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd in Oregon, Ohio on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow at North Oregon Cemetery.
