Donna Jean Huth, age 65, of Oregon, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Mercy- St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on September 4, 1948. Donna was a 1967 graduate of Waite High School where she met the love of her life, Rowland and a long life of love was shared between them. They were married on June 15, 1968 and would be celebrating 46 years of marriage this year. Donna was known as the most honest, respectful and loyal person. She always worked to do what was right.
Donna worked at Anchor Pointe Marina as the Office Manager, Book Keeper and Manager for 25 years and had recently retired in November of 2013. She enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband, Rolo and spending time with her family. In 2006, Donna started and organized a group for her family which is called “Cousins” and is made up of women in her family who gather on a monthly basis to have dinner and talk. This tradition will be carried on by her family. Donna was also skilled at crocheting. She had amassed a wonderful collection of work which she often gave out to family and friends as gifts.
Donna was loved by her family very much and will be missed beyond what words can describe. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Rowland, her son, Joe (Jess); her daughter, JoAnna (Tim) and her granddaughter, Autumn Rose. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
