Donna Mae (Mohler) Connor

Donna Mae Connor, age 83, of Jerusalem Township passed away at home December 20, 2018. Donna was born to Chalmer and Helen (Rieter) Mohler in Delta, Ohio on December 17, 1935. She graduated from Delta High School and went on to earn her RN from Riverside School of Nursing in Toledo. She was married to her husband, Melvin, May 26, 1956. Donna retired from Riverside Hospital in 1994. Donna was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church; Martin, Ohio, Jerusalem Township Fire Department Auxiliary, Riverside Pastimers and Ohio Nomad Motor Coach Association. Donna collected teddy bears and loved the outdoors; she fished, enjoyed snowmobiling, skiing, and gardening.

Donna is survived by her husband, Melvin; children, Steven (Karen) Connor and Gail (Glenn) Baden; grandchildren, Morgan, Ashley and Charlie; brothers, Dick (Rita), Bernie, Jim, Roger, Dave (Deb) Mohler; brother-in-law, Dave Whitmer, sisters-in-law, Betty and Lynn Mohler; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Chalmer, Bob, Jerry and a sister, Rose Whitmer.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, December 28, 2018, from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
