Donald R. Smith, age 88, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Ayden of Oregon. He was born on January 18, 1936 in Monroe, Michigan to Leo and Genevieve (Wallace) Smith. Don worked for Goodwill Industries and Wendy’s over the years. He enjoyed collecting watches and fixing watches and flashlights.
Donald is survived by his nieces, Jenny, and Bridget; nephew, Mike and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, including Lucille who was like a mother to him.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 10-11:00 a.m. where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
