Donald P. Scheiba, 78, of Oregon, OH. passed away at Mercy St. Charles Hospital on Monday, February 20, 2012. He was born on December 25, 1933 in Lake Twp., Ohio to Paul and Bertha Scheiba. Donald served in the U.S. Army. Don was a conductor for Conrail Railroad for 45 years. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and planting flowers at Pearson Park. He loved animals, especially his bird, duck and rabbit. Don was a member of the Friends of Pearson Metro Park.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Eleanor. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ervin.
Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 10:30-1:30 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Pearson Metro Park.
