Donald R. Haddox
Donald R. Haddox, 86, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. He was born on October 26, 1928 in Toledo to Clarence and Lucille Haddox. Don served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Christ Dunberger American Legion Post #537. He worked as a car painter for over 30 years at St. John Collision. Don was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Zella; children: Eileen (Kenneth) Gallaher, Susan (Paul) St. John and Donald (Kim) Haddox Jr.; grandchildren: Kevin (Jennifer) St. John, Justin (Danielle) St. John, Derek and Casey Haddox; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Bryden, Bridget and Bethany St. John and his half-brother, Roger Nye.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. where legion services will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
