Doloris M. Dellinger

Doloris M. Dellinger passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022.  She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Roy and Dorothy Miller on November 23, 1940.  Doloris was a 1958 graduate of Lake High School.  She retired after 14 years of service from the former Maumee Fabrics Company in 1995 as office manager and bookkeeper.  She also was a bookkeeper for the FW Woolworth Company.  She attended Northwood Church of God, faithfully serving in many capacities.  Her love in the Lord’s Ministry was Children’s stories for worship, classes for children and youth, crafting treats, piano, and directing choir.  She served on Trustee and Christian Ed Boards, also attended the Windows Group and Ladies Bible study at Heritage Church.  She enjoyed family gatherings.  Her chocolate chip cookies were always baked and snatched up by her sons and grandkids, Josh, Heather, Leanna, Claire, and Meghen.

Doloris is survived by her sons; Anthony (Rhonda) Dellinger, and David (Jill) Dellinger; grandchildren, step grandchildren, and niece.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ernie; parents, Roy and Dorothy Miller; brother, Kenneth; and niece, Bonnie.

Friends may visit Northwood Church of God on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. where services will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Northwood Church of God or Heritage Church of God 3520 Strayer Rd. Maumee, OH 43537.
