Diane M. Schutt, age 46, of Oregon, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Arbors of Oregon. She was born on January 28, 1969 to Gerald L. and Elizabeth M. (Brossia) Fillmore in Rocky Ridge, Ohio.
Diane was the life of the party, she was very outgoing, had a contagious personality, big heart and was a wonderful person to everyone she encountered, never speaking a bad word about anyone. She was a loving and devoted wife to Keith and a loving and devoted mother to her two children that she raised on her own, Steven and Carry. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, she was a very creative person often sharing her creations with her family and friends. Diane was currently participating in RCIA classes at St. Thomas Aquinas to become a Catholic. She also attended Knights of Columbus meetings with her husband, Keith at Little Sisters of the Poor – Sacred Heart Home in Oregon.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Keith Schutt; children, Steven Clark and Carry Grasso-Clark; grandson, Aden Gilbert-Clark, Ryan and Hailey Grasso; brother, James (Tina) Fillmore; sister in law, Lucinda Fillmore; stepsisters, Jennifer Salyers and Jessica Lawrence; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Carol Schutt; stepmother, Jeanie Roberts along with many nieces, nephews and fellow friends from the Knights of Columbus. In addition to her parents, Gerald and Elizabeth; Diane was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Rickie Fillmore and nephew, Jerald Richard Fillmore.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 after 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made directly to the family.
