Diane L. Flanagan
Diane L. Flanagan, age 68, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital. She was born on November 21, 1946 in Toledo to Marvin and Mildred Cowell. After graduating from Waite High School, Diane married Patrick Flanagan Sr. on June 21, 1974. She worked for 25 years at St. Charles Hospital in the housekeeping department where she made many friends. Diane was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and was devoted to her family. In her younger years, Diane was a member of the Wynn School Mother’s Club. She will be dearly missed.
Diane is survived by her loving husband, Patrick; son, Patrick (Lynn) Flanagan Jr.; grandchildren, Johnathan and Roger Flanagan; brothers, Larry and Norman (Oak) Cowell; sister, Judy Sutter and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Linda Cowell and Bev Wamer and her brother, Jim Cowell.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Ignatius Church at 10 a.m. where family will greet guests after 9 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
