Dennis Lee Jeffrey

Dennis Lee Jeffrey, 69, of Curtice, OH passed away on December 23, 2024. He was born in Weston, OH to James and Mary (Fuller) Jeffrey on May 25, 1955. Dennis was a graduate of Otsego High School. Dennis was a millwright by trade and worked in maintenance for Johns Manville for over 30 years, retiring in 2016. He was a dedicated motorcyclist, even building many of his own. Dennis often preferred to ride over driving a car. He was a teamster and member of the Iron Coffins MC where he was known as Phantom. In addition to motorcycles, Dennis had a love and interest in tattoos. He could also be described as an outdoorsman who partook in hunting, specifically ducks and deer, and archery. He was previously involved with coaching football for his two sons’ teams and building cars for the Pinewood Derby for both his sons and grandsons. Dennis’s grand and great grand children were a source of immense pride and joy in his life. 

Left to cherish Dennis’s memory is his wife of 24 years, Beth Tuite-Jeffrey; children, Rachael (Steve) McCoy, Dennis Lee Jeffrey (Amanda). Jason (Carrie) Jeffrey, Daniel Jeffrey, Dustin (Raquel) Jeffrey; stepchildren, Chester St John (Jessica), Katlynne Dean; mother-in-law, Sue Harrigan Tuite; many grand and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; siblings, Wanda Winover, Denise (Gary) Hunsrucker. In addition, Dennis is survived by many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James; son-in-law, Jerry Sr. and father-in-law Joseph William Tuite Sr. 

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, in Oregon on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio . The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Dr. Kumar’s office, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Ohioans Home Health, and Davita Dialysis Maumee Bay for the care they provided to Dennis.
