DENIS JEROME FISHER
Denis Jerome Fisher age 69, died at University of Michigan Medical Center on Friday, January 30, 2015 following a brief and sudden illness. Born August 26, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, he lived in Oregon, OH and worked as a program director for Teledyne CAE for 26 years and then as an engineer at Ford Dearborn for 17 years until retiring in 2011.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara (Smith) Fisher; his son, Scott (Dahlia) Fisher of Cleveland, OH; daughter, Kelli (Michael) Clark of Richmond, KY; five precious grandchildren, Avery, Magnolia, Charlie, Nolan, and Teddy; siblings, Barbara (Louis) Deluca, Donald (Nancy) Fisher; sister-in-law, Kym (Michael) Cragel and brother-in-law, Alan Weintraub. Denis was preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Theresa; in-laws, Lawrence and Alice Smith and sister-in-law, Pam Weintraub.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at Noon on Wednesday at Epiphany of the Lord Parish-St. Thomas Aquinas Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions are welcome in lieu of flowers to Save the Children Federation (www.savethechildren.org) or Epiphany of the Lord-St. Thomas Parish in Toledo.
