Debbie Ann Marlow-Shepherd

Debbie Ann Marlow-Shepherd age 67 of Jerusalem Township, passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2025. Debbie was born in Oregon, Ohio on March 30, 1957 in Oregon, Ohio to Robert James and Donna (Sinift) Marlow. She was a 1976 graduate of Clay High School and worked for many years at the then Little Sisters of the Poor. Debbie was an old hippie who loved music and animals. Becoming a grandmother to Corbin was most precious to her; she loved being a grandma. With Debbie, if she loved you, she loved you with everything; if she was mad at you, she was mad at you with everything. To know her was to know she was not a person to hold grudges; she loved her family and friends deeply.

Debbie is survived by her sons Robert (Henry) Mullens and Joseph (Taylor) Marlow; grandson Corbin; sisters Brenda Fisher and Renee Polk; brother Merle Martin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Shepherd, and brother James Sinift.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 4 until 6 p.m., with a memorial service to be held at 6 p.m. In honor of Debbie’s love for animals, memorial contributions are appreciated to the Toledo Animal Rescue, 640 Wyman St, Toledo, OH 43609.
