Deann Marie (Goncz) Laws

DeAnn Marie (Goncz) Laws, 52, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Manor of Perrysburg after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.  She was born on August 8, 1968 in Toledo, Ohio to Eugene and Helen Goncz.  DeeDee was a 1987 graduate of Clay High School and went on to earn an associate’s degree at Owens Community College.  Following school, she worked as a paralegal.  DeeDee was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.  She was a huge Drew Breeze fan and she never missed a Saints football game.  DeeDee loved her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

DeeDee is survived by her children, Dannielle Kaye (Matthew) Laws, and Dalton Ray Laws; her mother, Helen Kaye Goncz; sisters, Robin (Dale) Evearitt, Vicky Sabini, and Pam (Jim) Heninger; her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to her children.  The family would like to thank the Manor at Perrysburg for their kindness, compassion, and wonderful care from Crystal and the rest of the caregivers.
