Dawn Sonya Snell

September 18, 1977 — January 16, 2019

Dawn Sonya Snell, 41, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.  She was born on September 18, 1977 in Toledo, Ohio to Clint Wagner Jr. and Candra May. Dawn was known for her giving spirit and big heart. She was an open person and loved making new friends. Dawn graduated from Stockbridge High School in Stockbridge, MI. During high school she was a cheerleader, worked the afterschool childcare program, was the president of the Water Conservation group and a member of S.A.D.D. Dawn loved animals, especially dogs and her favorite Disney character was Eeyore. She loved to dance, listen to music, read books and watch movies. Dawn was active with the Muscular Dystrophy Association; volunteering for MDA camps and telethons.

Dawn is survived by her mother, Candra Snell; siblings, Tina Smith, Tonya Sommer, Eric Wagner and Crystal Berlin; nieces and nephews, Ashlee, Presley, Chelsea, A.J. Aria, Carter, Damien and Hayden; grandmother, Sally Wagner; aunt, Patsy (Robert Allen) Trombly, uncle, Robert (Debbie) May Jr.; cousins, David Trombly, Jana May, Frankie May, Randi Sampson and many second and third cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Clint Wagner Jr., and grandparents, Robert May Sr., Eunice May and Clint Wagner Sr.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, January 21, 2019, from 10-12 p.m. where services will be held at 12 noon.  Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
