David L. Heath, age 77, of Haines City, FL. and formerly of Toledo passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Winter Haven Hospital in Florida. He was born on June 10, 1939 in Toledo to Clarence and Marie Heath. David served in the U.S. Army Reserves before starting his career at L.O.F. He retired after 34 years as a glass cutter and moved to Florida with his wife, Ina. While in Florida, David worked at Disney for 13 years and Sea World for 2 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Redman Lodge in Toledo.
David is survived by his loving wife, Ina Ray Heath; sons, David Heath, Jr. and Daniel Heath; grandchildren, Vanessa and Timothy Heath and great-grandchildren, Haidyn Heath and Logan Hoffman. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert and George.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
