David Michael Audiano, 72, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away Monday July 22, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Bristol, CT on March 3, 1941 to Michael and Lydia (Manti) Audiano. David was a Test Engineer for General Motors, New Departure Hyatt Department for 38 years until his retirement in 2000. He belonged to the Port Clinton Elks Lodge, the Huron Eagles, Fremont Moose Lodge and was the 1987 Commodore of the Port Clinton Yacht Club. In his spare time David enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Red Sox and the Giants play.
He is survived by his wife, Jeri Audiano; sons, Michael (Jean) Audiano, Richard (Tina) Audiano and James Audiano; step-children, Timothy (Andrea) Klees, Philp Klees, Kristofer Klees and Kati (David) Hughes; mother, Lydia Audiano and 8 grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his father, Michael Audiano and brother, Alan Audiano.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4p.m. and 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013. Burial will follow at Elliston Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
