Dartaya "Dd" Ragland

Dartaya Donyell "DD" Ragland, age 19, of Toledo, Ohio was taken from this world on Saturday, September 18, 2021.  She was born on October 11, 2001 in Toledo, Ohio to Christina Moffitt and Dartanyon Ragland.  Dartaya was an amazing, happy, and strong young woman.  She fought her whole life to overcome childhood illness.  She loved music and began to make her own rap music at a young age.  Dartaya was the life of every party and loved being around her family.  She had an adventurous spirit; she wanted to see the world and would try anything once.  She will be dearly missed.

Dartaya is survived by her parents, Christina (Marcus) Jones; siblings, Kadijah (Resean Watkins) Machaterre, Kelsey (Zack) Moffitt, Dartanyon Ragland Jr., Antonio Ragland, and KaSean (Norma) Williams; aunts and uncles, Corrie (Jack) Davis, Larry Ragland, Carvell Jordan, Sharn Ragland, and William Ragland; nieces and nephews, Londyn Machaterre, Resean Watkins Jr, Zackary Barrett, and Ky’ota Williams.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dartanyon Ragland and grandparents, Geri Price, Frank Moffitt, Teresa Jordan and Larry Ragland.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 11-1:00 p.m. where services will be held at 1:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
