Darryl Purtee, 64, of Toledo, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was born on October 14, 1952 in Toledo, OH to Russel and Anna (Tefft) Purtee. Darryl worked as a Boilermaker for Local 85 and they were a very big part of his life. He enjoyed learning about space and most things to do with astronomy.
Darryl is survived by his wife, DeEtte Purtee; 4 stepchildren; his children, Kristina (Matthew) DeVries, Joshua and Megan Purtee; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; mother, Anna Purtee; 2 brothers; K9 companion, Chip, as well as many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Russel Purtee and 1 brother.
