Darcy R. Halka, 40, of Oregon, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. She was born December 27, 1976 in Toledo to Richard and Elaine (Egner) Dossat and was a 1995 graduate of Waite High School. Darcy had a fun-loving personality and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, making crafts and collecting things with fairies and rainbows.
She is survived by her husband, Martin; children, Kyle, Cody, Michael and Aidan; grandchildren, Kyle Jr., Kole and Maylee; mother, Elaine Lozano; stepfather, Joseph Pfeiffer, Sr.; siblings, Victor Dossat, Richard Dossat, Anthony Dossat, Casey (Justin) Ferris and Joseph (Lisa) Pfeiffer, Jr.; brother-in-law, Danny Abdo; sister-in-law, Angie DiStaffano and nieces and nephews: Tristan Dossat; Ariel and Ricky Keiser; Justin, Jaycie and Jaylie Ferris; Kaylee, Miah and Lexi Abdo; and Mark and Andreal DiStaffano. Darcy was preceded in death by her father, Richard Dossat.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Darcy Dossat Halka Memorial Fund c/o any Croghan Colonial Bank.
