Danny B. Skirvin, 69, of Oregon, Ohio passed away due to complications associated with Agent Orange on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born in Bloomington, IN on December 20, 1945 to Robert Evans and Louise (McLaughlin) Skirvin and was a 1964 graduate of Clay High School. Danny served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam surviving the TET Offensive and was a life-member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 35.

In 2001, he retired from Air Liquide where he was a CO2 Operator. Danny loved classic cars and was an active member of the Glass City AMC Car Club.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (Draper) Skirvin; mother, Louise Skirvin; brothers, Scott Skirvin and Marc (Marcy) Skirvin; niece, Miranda Skirvin and nephews, Mike (Sarah) Skirvin and Sean (Lilly) Skirvin; great-nephew, Tyan Skirvin and brother-in-law, Bob (Rita) Draper. Danny was preceded in death by his father.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 3-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 11 a.m.   Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 35.
