Daniel James Roberts, 60, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was born June 13, 1954 in Toledo to Carl and Dolores (Kohl) Roberts. Daniel graduated from Waite High in 1972. He served our country in the U.S. Navy. Daniel was a welder for Bock Engineered Products and Glassline Corporation for 38 years. He dabbled in many hobbies that included gardening, poker and riding his motorcycle on the open road.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, of 42 years, Pamela Roberts; children, Eric Roberts, Sean Roberts and Niki Roberts; siblings, Beverly (Daniel) Ryan, Judith (Danny) Gears, Elaine Holcomb, Darla (Jeff) Walz and Shelley Roberts. Daniel is also survived by many nieces and nephews. His parents and brother, David Roberts preceded him in death.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
