Daniel C. Marshall, Sr., 46, of Toledo, Ohio away peacefully in his home Tuesday morning. He was born on February 21, 1967 in Toledo to James and Anna Marshall. Dan was an avid football and hockey fan who never missed a Michigan game and never passed at the chance to shout “go blue!” Dan was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved nothing more than spending time together, having cookouts and slipping on his maize and blue for his favorite rival game every November. Dan graduated from Waite high school and spent most of his life employed at Wonder Bread. He left this earth too soon but with many fond memories and stories that we will cherish forever.
Dan is preceded by death by his mother Anna and Father James and survived by his loving wife of 28 years Lisa; Children Daniel (Jamie) Marshall, Jr., Christopher(Meganne) Marshall and Jenifer(Ara) Marshall; Grandchildren: Alexis and Lilyane Marshall; Siblings, Deborah(Butch) Essing, James (Pam) Marshall and Becky (Dean) Briones; best friends Herb and Kelli King.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
