Dale A. Arndt, 63, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully, on January 22, 2014 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center. He was born on September 8, 1950 in Fremont, Ohio to Lawrence and Helen Arndt. Dale was a truck driver for over 40 years. He enjoyed working on cars and had rebuilt many engines in his younger years. Dale loved to fish, play games with his grandkids and spend time with his family talking and laughing. He was known as a generous person who would help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; children: Brian (Melissa) Villarreal, Eric (Brooke) Arndt and Melisa (Jose’) Cruz; grandchildren: Maximus, Donte, Katrina, Erik, Anekah, Isaak, Jakob, Victor, Vanessa and Trinidad. He is also survived by his brothers, Ralph (Pam) Arndt and Richard (Girea) Arndt and many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lawrence R. Arndt Jr. “Dutch” and his sister, Dolores Smith.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday from 10-1 p.m. where services will be held at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
