Coy Howard Giles, Jr.

Coy Howard Giles, Jr., of Toledo, OH, passed away at home on Sunday, December 31, 2023. He was born in Oregon, OH to Coy Sr. and Bonnie Lee (Rickman) Giles on June 18, 1958. He was 65 years of age. Coy served in the US Army and later was employed as a carpenter and a mechanic. He enjoyed tinkering and working on various projects, he was a skilled mechanic and could always be found working on family vehicles. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his children and grandchildren, who he loved dearly.

Coy leaves behind his children, Jason (Amy), Coy III (Amber), Brandi (JT), and Jacey (Levi); his numerous grandchildren; and his siblings, Jeffery (Donna), Penny (Frank), and Rhonda (Doug). He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Bonnie.

A celebration of life will be held at the Northwood VFW Post 2984, 102 W. Andrus Rd., Northwood, OH, on Sunday, January 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with military funeral honors at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the family.
