Rev. Clifford Lawson
Rev. Clifford Lawson, 72, of Genoa, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Bay Park Community Hospital. He was born on June 22, 1940 in Kingston, WV. to Everett and Parry Dine Lawson. Cliff served in the U.S. Army for 10 years, during Vietnam. Cliff was a member of American Legion Post #324 in Genoa. He enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with his family, especially with the grandkids. Cliff retired from Sear’s Auto Center in Northwood after 32 years of service. He will be dearly missed.
Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda; sons, Kenneth (Kim) and Clifford Jr. (Kelly); grandchildren: Talisha, Kenneth Jr., Breanna, Abby and Candace; great-grandson, Ayden and sisters, Eileen, Frances and Dallie. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marie and brothers, Carl, Paul and Gene.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
