Clarence worked at Sears and Doehler Jarvis before starting his career at Key Bank, where he was an Enrolled Agent in the Trust Tax Department, retiring in 2004.
He is survived by sons, Tom (Kris) of Valejo, California, Tim of Denver, Colorado and daughter, Amy of Oregon, Ohio; significant other, Jan Schimming; brothers, Tom (Kathy), Toledo, Sam (Ronnie), Waterville; sisters, Laura (Brad) Major of Graytown, Ohio, Tina (Rick) Zdrada of Temperance, MI. and many nieces and nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Horton Conklin; sister, Claranell Gay; infant brother Billy and infant son.
Family and friends may visit from 2-8 pm on Friday, February 28, 2014 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elliston Cemetery.
