Clara Margaret Swoboda

Clara Margaret Swoboda age 89 of Toledo, Ohio passed away at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital on Friday, February 9, 2024. Clara was born to Donald Denman and Hazel Baker in Toledo, Ohio on March 21, 1934. Clara was a woman with the biggest heart and a beautiful soul. She would take care of anyone and go without so others could be happy. Clara enjoyed her black coffee and cigarettes, going bowling, and cleaning. She loved her grandchildren very deeply; they were everything to her. Clara retired from the former Radison Hotel in downtown Toledo in 2010 after over 20 years of service.

Clara is survived by her daughters Jennie Lee Swoboda and Victoria (David Crupi) Wilhelm; son-in-law Rueben SanMiguel; grandchildren David SanMiguel, Raymond SanMiguel, Miranda SanMiguel-Reed, Cindy Kozlok, Rodney Wilhelm, Vincent Crupi, Shawnda Swoboda, Lisa Welsh, Billy Welsh and Barbie Welsh; sister Pat; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond Swoboda, children Theresa Welsh, Benny Swoboda, and Charles Swoboda; 2 brothers and a sister.

Graveside services will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park 3665 Genoa Rd. in Perrysburg, Ohio on  Monday, February 12, 2024, at 11 a.m.
