Christopher L. Wyland

Christopher "Chris" Wyland, age 55, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024.  He was born on August 19, 1969 in Oregon, Ohio to Cletus and Mary (Welch) Wyland. Chris was a 1987 graduate of Clay High School. He worked various jobs over the years, most recently as a stagehand and auctioneer.

Chris loved to go to garage sales and find antique uniques as he called them. Chris was the joy and life of the party.  He made friends everywhere and never met a stranger. Chris appreciated cars and motorcycles, often going to car shows or just watch his son working on them. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Chris is survived by his sons, Christopher (Corrina) Wyland, and Curtis (Chastity) Wyland; grandchildren, Chensley, and Caleb; parents, Cletus and Mary Wyland; siblings, Craig Wyland, and Corey (Angela) Wyland; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Charlotte Wyland; and former spouse, Kathy Wyland.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, September 1, from 11:00-1:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
