Christine D. Burgess

Christine D. Burgess, 52, is at a place of peace as she passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 23, 2022 at home in Toledo, Ohio. She was a loving mother to her son Matthew who she adored unconditionally. She was a loyal friend to all who knew her and always lent an ear for anyone who called upon her.  In her early days, she worked very hard as a Manager in the restaurant industry and was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan where she enjoyed watching games on Sunday afternoon with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her son Matthew Blakeman, her father William, mother Marjorie, sister Brenda, brother Bill, grandparents, and many close cousins. She is survived by her brother Michael (Lisa) Burgess, her Granddaughter Sierra, nieces Dana, Desiree, Megan, Madison, Macy, and nephews, Bill, Nicholas, and Mark. Visitation and remembrance will be on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Freck Funeral Chapel from 4-6pm with a short service immediately following.
