Charlotte Gloria Harris

Charlotte Gloria Harris, 83, of Oregon, OH, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born April 17, 1938 to Frederick and Dorothy (Sanderson) Holden in Toledo, OH. She was employed for many years at Jeep as an assembly worker. Charlotte enjoyed playing senior volleyball and played volleyball in the Senior Olympics. She also enjoyed playing tennis and bowling, but most of all she loved her family.

Charlotte leaves behind her children, Eugene (Cheryl) Harris, James Harris, Gloria Encalado, and Grant Harris, Jr.; her grandchildren, Rusty, Jeremy, Wesley, James (Authumn), Michael (Iman), Phillip (Rachael), and Grant III; her 12 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Richard (Kathy) Holden, and Donald (Lori) Holden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Harris, Sr.; her son-in-law, David; and her sisters, Marlene Crapsey and Judy Trimmel.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
