CHARLES ARTHUR “SONNY” BENNETT
Charles A. Bennett, 62, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was born in Toledo on May 8, 1953 to Ora and Virginia (Emerick) Bennett and had worked for Glass City Springs for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to country music, watching baseball, especially the Detroit Tigers and the Antique Road Show. He loved to fish and take pictures of family but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Sonny is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Zablocki) Bennett; mother, Virginia Bennett; children, Jennifer, Charles Allen and Krystal Bennett; grandchildren, Miyah, Camren, Nathaniel, Allyssyn, Brayden, Gabriel and Memphis; sisters, Linda McClanahan and Wanita Perales along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ora and grandson, Charles Allen Bennett, Jr.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, July 3, 2015 from 11-3 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 3 p.m. Burial will be private.
