Charles Wayne Shepherd, age 68, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio to Dimmer and Barbara Shepherd. Chuck was a graduate of Macomber High School. He worked as a mechanic for many years at TARTA and Roadway Express. Chuck enjoyed fishing and hunting with his best friend, James Prayter.
Chuck is survived by his mother, Barbara Shepherd; children, Denise Shepherd, Charles Shepherd Jr, and Barbara Shepherd; four grandchildren, one great-grandson; and siblings, Linda (Ted) Steele, Brenda (Walter) Vindas, and Lucille (Fred) Lange. He was preceded in death by his father, Dimmer Shepherd and brother, Michael David Shepherd.
A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 1-3:00 p.m. where a memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m.
