Charles L. Fogel Jr. age 84 of Jerusalem Township, Ohio passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Chuck was born to Charles L. Sr. and Jesse Fogel on August 15, 1939. He graduated from Waite High School and became a clerk with the Railroad for 44 years until his retirement in 2003. Chuck was a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the Jerusalem Township Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years retiring as a Captain. In his younger years, he helped his father-in-law with the farm and enjoyed boating and fishing.
Chuck was preceded in death by his wife Patricia and parents Chuck Sr. and Jesse. He is survived by his daughter Luanne Harris, son Scott (Tammy Eley) Fogel, and granddaughter Tracie (Matt) Wall.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Funeral services will begin at noon. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Jerusalem Township Volunteer Fire Department.
